The New York State Commission for Social Justice established La Bella Lingua Achievement Award for
a graduating high school senior who has taken no less than three years of Italian language in an
accredited program. If you quality to submit an application please include with the application:
two copies of the candidate’s answers to application questions, two copies of an official student’s
transcript (containing Italian Language course grades), two copies of a letter of recommendation,
and two copies of the student’s essay by March 31st to the District VIII CSJ Liaison.

The award of $500 will be presented to the awardee at the Vincent Lombardi Lodge #2270’s Award
